We’re proud to be working alongside the military charity, Walking With The Wounded and their Walking Home For Christmas campaign. The charity ensure ex-servicemen and women who are at risk of homelessness, struggling with mental health issues can feel at ease in society, find employment and support themselves and their families at Christmas.

Wolsey has a significant history of supporting the military, supplying British and Allied troops with more than 18 million items of woollen clothing in World War 1. You can earn one of the exclusive Wolsey jackets modelled below by signing up to the campaign as an organiser and recruiting 25 friends to join you.

Meet Duncan

Waves crashing against fishermen’s boats. Bitter cold winds blowing against driftwood huts. Seagulls flocking at the sight of fish. Flickering beams from a lighthouse. Abandoned boats draped in nets. Crunching footsteps on the pebbled shore by a tall, strong man; a war hero.

His name is Duncan Slater and he is an ex Royal Airforce Sergeant, double amputee, and we want to share the incredible journey he has been on since losing his legs at war.

Read part 1 Duncan Slater's Story here. The ex-platoon RAF sergeant, double amputee and WWTW fundraising ambassador talks about how the charity has helped him after his injury and how the charity supports people like him today. Part 2 & 3 coming shortly.
